Nexus Student Involvement and Leadership
You are invited to Nexus, Student Involvement and Leadership's monthly networking and leadership event! At this event, you will have the opportunity to network with leaders from the community as well as other students, and gain valuable leadership skills. All students are welcome to attend.
February's topic is Valuing Others: Cultural Competency and Leadership, facilitated by Robin Hattori from Gephardt Institute for Public Service. There will be activities and discussion centered around personal culture, how that fits in the Wash U community, taking that into a larger community context, and the importance of understanding diversity from a leadership perspective. The event is on February 22 from 7:00-8:30pm in DUC 234 and dinner from Tony Marino's will be provided free of charge. Come enjoy a great meal, share ideas with other students, and learn more about being a culturally competent leader!
