Executive Branch

The executive branch of Student Union includes many different components, but is generally designed to ensure the overall welfare of the student government and student body.

Executive Officers

The executive officers of Student Union are the Student Body President, Vice President of Administration, Vice President of Programming, Vice President of Finance, and the Vice President of Public Relations. Together, the executive officers set the vision for the administration and work with other parts of Student Union to achieve its goals.

Executive Council

The executive council is comprised of the executive officers, the Speaker of the Senate, the Speaker of the Treasury, and the advisors of Student Union. The President may invite any constituent to attend an executive council meeting. The executive council makes many official decisions on behalf of Student Union and coordinates the work being done in the various parts of the organization.

School Councils

There is a school council for each of the undergraduate schools: Art, Architecture Arts & Sciences, Business and Engineering. School Councils represent constituents in their schools directly to their respective school administrations. Additionally, school councils put on big campus programs to being members of their school and the entire campus together throughout the year.

Class Councils

There is a class council for each undergraduate class. The class councils exist to unite their respective classes through various programs. Additionally, class councils may represent members of their class on matters of policy that directly affect them.

Cabinet

The Executive Cabinet is made up of the business staff and advisors appointed by the President. Additionally, the Recruitment & Retention Committee and Public Relations Committee are in the cabinet.
