Student Union has six campus card readers available for student groups to reserve in order to collect funds from students, staff, and faculty who may wish to purchase tickets to events, merchandise, or services. They cannot be used to collect donations. Funds will be automatically deposited into the student group's fundraising account, so that student groups no longer have to worrying about losing cash!
- Each student group may only checkout one reader per day.
- Student groups must have a student ready to operate the reader at all times.
- Readers may not be picked up more than 30 minutes before the start of an event.
- Readers must be returned to the Student Union Office no later than 30 minutes after the end an event.
- Student groups are subject to Missouri sales tax laws.
- Student groups will be subject to a 2% university surcharge.
- Student groups will be responsible for damaged or lost equipment, and funds will be withdrawn from their fundraising account. Readers cost $2,500.
- If a reader is not returned on time, student groups will be charged $25 per half hour from their fundraising account until it is returned.
- Funds are deposited into student groups' fundraising accounts on the 16th of the month and the last day of the month.
